KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In-person classes will resume at Kansas State University for the fall semester, with some changes.

The start and end dates of the semester will be moved up one week. The first day of classes will begin Monday, Aug. 17 with the last day set for Friday, Dec. 4. Finals will be the following week.

However, the last day for in-person, on-campus instruction will be November 20. The final two weeks of the semester, including finals week, will be completed using distance methods.

K-State will also have on-campus housing and dining available, with extra health and safety measures.

Those include a reduction in housing density, a staggered move-in schedule, additional conduct standards and protocols for residents and enhanced sanitation and cleaning for residence halls, dining centers and shared spaces.
