KANSAS CITY, Mo. — World's of Fun announced Tuesday its last day of operations this year will be Labor Day, Sept. 7.

“We are so pleased to be able to welcome guests back to the park this year, despite all the challenges that have come with 2020. It has been a truly unique season, and I want to thank our guests and ambassadors for making Worlds of Fun a safe and joyful place to visit,” Worlds of Fun vice president and general manager Tony Carovillano said in a release.

Season-pass holders for the 2020 season will have the opportunity to extend their services through the 2021 season.

The closing of the park for the season means customers will not have the chance to attend popular events like the, “Halloween Haunt.”

The company said Oceans of Fun will also remain closed for the remaining season.
