KCFD announces funeral services for Rocha, Davidson

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two members of the Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department who died last week from COVID-19 will be laid to rest within the next week.

Visitation for Scott Davidson, a KCFD communications specialist, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12004 East 13th Street North in Wichita.

His funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11411 East Central Avenue in Wichita. A graveside service will follow.

Davidson died Sunday after contracting COVID-19 in the line of duty.

A drive-thru visitation for Capt. Robert “Bobby” Rocha will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at McGilley Funeral Home, 3325 Northeast Vivion Road in KCMO.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Mount Olive Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Road in Raytown.

Services for Rocha, who died Saturday in the line of duty, will be closed to the public. However, the funeral home will stream the service on its Facebook page.
