Kearney High School cancels 2 football games, citing COVID-19 exposure

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kearney High School football team will not be playing under the lights for the next two weeks due to a COVID-19 exposure.

The district made the announcement on Facebook Friday.

The Bulldogs were set to play Grandview on Friday and De Soto High on Friday, Oct. 23.

The school did not say whether it was players or a member of the coaching staff who tested positive.

It also did not say how many people were potentially exposed.
