KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Country music fans, get prepared to “chillax” next May at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kenny Chesney announced Monday that his “Chillaxification” Tour 2021 — featuring Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, Michael Franti and Spearhead — will restart in May 2021.

The tour stop at Arrowhead, which was officially postponed last month, has been rescheduled for May 29, 2021 — the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

Tickets originally purchased for the July 2020 concert will automatically transfer to the May 2021 concert date. Otherwise, ticket holder have until July 15 to request a refund at the point of purchase.

Chesney called the decision to postpone this summer's tour "the hardest thing for me," but said it was in the best interest "for the safety of No Shoes Nation, my road family and everyone at the buildings involved," according to a statement from Chesney.

"There were so many questions, so many unknowns, but I believe music makes a difference in people’s lives, so everyone on my team, the promoter’s team and all of the people we deal with have worked overtime trying to get this sorted out," Chesney said.

Chesney tweeted more information about other tour dates:
