KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Five total students and staff in Lansing Unified School District 469 tested positive for the coronavirus in the past week.
The district announced on Friday that a Lansing High School student and a Lansing Elementary School staff member contracted the virus.
The first positive test was reported on Wednesday at LHS.
A second LHS student tested positive on Thursday, along with a staff member at LES.
The cases are among the nearly 2,600 total in Leavenworth County, according to the 41 Action News COVID-19 case tracker.
