LIVE: Gov. Parson gives update on COVID-19 in Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is holding his daily briefing on COVID-19 in the state.

Earlier Tuesday, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services released new data which showed a triple-digit increase in the number of novel coronavirus cases.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there were 1,071 COVID-19 patients in Missouri, and 477 in the Kansas City metro area.
