KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Nick and Jake's closed one of its four restaurants in the Kansas City area.
The restaurant at 5031 Main St. in Kansas City, Missouri, posted the announcement Mondayon its Facebook page.
"This has been a very difficult time for us and yes, with a heavy heart we have had to close our Main Street location permanently,'' according to the statement.
The restaurant's owners said in the statement recovery over the next 6 months will be slow and the restaurant closed in order to survive.
Nick and Jake's has three other locations, in Overland Park, Shawnee and Parkville.
The Shawnee location temporarily closed on March 23.
