The Raymore-Peculiar School District has delayed the start of summer school for middle and high school students after a high school employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The district said in a new release on Sunday that classes now will begin on Tuesday, while staff “deep clean the building” on Monday.
Students in Kindergarten through fifth grade will begin summer school on Monday, the release stated.
Activities that take place outside the building will continue.
The Cass County Health Department has been notified and is conducting contact tracing.
