KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Peculiar Elementary School teacher tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to the Raymore Peculiar School District.
The district said in a statement posted to its website that officials were notified Sunday about the positive test.
Ray-Pec administrators are working with the Cass County Health Department to perform contact tracing and notify "individuals who were potentially exposed and need to quarantine," according to the statement.
Cass County had reported 1,878 COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths, according to data compiled by 41 Action News.
