KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Raymore-Peculiar School District will make some adjustments to the class calendar for the remainder of the semester.
The changes were decided on during a special school board meeting Tuesday night.
Students will largely continue with the current model of learning, which is hybrid for many.
Dec. 4, 11 and 18 will now be virtual learning days for elementary students.
That means that starting the week after the Thanksgiving holiday, elementary students will be in-person Monday through Thursday but virtual on Fridays.
Secondary students will continue with their hybrid schedule and Early Childhood students will continue in-person five days a week.
The board also voted to end the semester early for students, on Dec. 18. School days scheduled for Dec. 21 and 22 will now be teacher work days.
During a special meeting tonight, the School Board discussed the learning mode to be used for the three-week period...
