RideKC: 8 bus operators COVID-19 positive since April

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — RideKC has reported eight total COVID-19 cases among its bus operators, including one in October.

The driver who tested positive in October was on the following routes throughout the month:

  • 3-5 p.m., Main MAX on Sept. 26.
  • 6 a.m. - 4 p.m., Troost MAX, on Sept. 27.
  • 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., 47 Broadway, on Sept. 28.
  • 5:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 101 State Ave., on Oct. 13 and 14.
  • 5:30 - 11:30 a.m., 101 State Ave., on Oct. 15.

The previous positive cases occurred between April and September, according to Ride KC.
