KANSAS CITY, Mo. — During these difficult days, The Salvation Army is available for anyone needing someone to listen, talk to or pray with through a newly established spiritual care hotline.

Anyone calling will be connected to one of nine chaplain's trained through the Salvation Army's Emergency Response Chaplaincy Certification Program.

The chaplains will provide a word of encouragement and prayer for anyone needing support.

If a chaplain is unavailable, callers can leave a message with their contact information and a chaplain will get back to them.

People can call the hotline at 816-968-0497 or email WePray@usc.salvationarmy.org 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
