KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A seventh Johnson County long-term care facility has been added to the county’s list of active COVID-19 outbreaks, according to new data.

Villa St. Francis, 16600 West 126th Street in Olathe, reported 34 positive cases, according to CEO Rodney Whittington. He said that 21 residents have tested positive for the virus, along with 13 staff members.

The facility, according to Whittington, underwent mass testing last week, and those who tested positive are isolated in one area of the complex.

Visitors have been prohibited at the facility, though area musicians recently performed on site for residents.

Of the seven facilities considered to have COVID-19 clusters, Villa St. Francis is the only one that has not reported any deaths.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
