KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As restaurants on both sides of the state line slowly start to reopen, many are still prioritizing delivery and curbside pickup to help make ends meet.
Many continue to offer special deals associated with Takeout Tuesday.
On Monday, Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas unveiled guidelines for restaurants to reopen starting Friday, May 15.
Restaurants in Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas were able to start offering limited service on Monday, as was Jackson County, Missouri.
Other locations in Missouri, such as Clay and Platte Counties, started to reopen restaurants on May 4.
