KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A worker involved in meal preparation for Tonganoxie USD 464 tested positive for COVID-19, the school district announced Sunday.
The district said it has identified staff and anyone else who may have come in contact with the person.
The patient did not come into direct contact with students or families, the district said, but was only preparing meals.
Toganoxie USD 464 said it is placing the staff members under a 14-day quarantine and are following guidelines from public health officials, which includes sanitizing the meal preparation area before and after work.
