KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Unified Government of Wyandotte County said Tuesday afternoon another person tested positive for COVID-19 in the county.
Wyandotte County officials said the person was a male student of a private school.
He is self-isolating at his home, officials said in the 3 p.m. news conference.
The Unified Government’s health department and Mayor David Alvey spoke on the subject.
The new case brought Wyandotte County's total to four as of 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Alvey issued a state of emergency for the county on Friday.
