Authorities are investigating after one person was killed and another was injured in KCMO early Friday morning.
Officer said they were dispatched to the 5100 block of East 112th Terrace on a shooting call at 2:49 a.m. Upon arrival, officers said they found two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police said KCFD personnel arrived and declared one of the victims dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are working to determine what happened prior to the shooting. There is no suspect information at this time.
