KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Raytown police said a 3-year-old child was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday.
The child's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The toddler arrived at the hospital at about 1:30 p.m.
Officials later determined the child was injured near the 6300 block of Ash.
Police said an investigation is underway.
