KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Blue Springs police are looking for a person of interest in a 17-year-old's homicide.

Officials are looking for 17-year-old Aden J. Kaler, seen above. He's 5'11" and weighs 136 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Officials said Kaler should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police are looking for him in connection to the investigation of 17-year-old Jayden Lockett's fatal shooting on Nov. 17. Two other teens, aged 15 and 19, were also injured in the shooting, which occurred on the 1200 block of Southwest Sunset Street in Blue Springs.

Lockett's mother told 41 Action News that her son was visiting the home where the shooting occurred but doesn't know why he was there. She said her son was an honor roll student at Blue Springs South High School.
