KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Independence are investigating a possible homicide after responding to a call Monday afternoon near East 14th Street and South Arlington Avenue.
The Independence Police Department responded to a “nature unknown” call in the 9500 block of East 14th Street and discovered a deceased adult at a residence in the area.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, but there is no information about the nature of death or the identity of the victim or suspect.
