Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department searches for aggravated robbery suspects

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is asking for help tracking down two people involved in an aggravated robbery at a store on Sept. 10.

KCKPD say the robbery happened on the 800 block of Kansas Avenue.

Two people entered the store and lingered for a while before a male suspect pointed a gun at a store employee.

He allegedly ordered the employee around at gunpoint asking for cash and property while a female suspect acted as a distraction.

Eventually both suspects left the scene on foot.

The male suspect was wearing a gray "Champion" hoodie, a black ball cap with orange and white lettering and black tennis shoes.

The female suspect had her hair up and covered with a black "Nike" ball cap.

Both of the suspects were wearing standard disposable face masks.
