ORIGINAL REPORT | A man died in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, on Tuesday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the 4900 block of Heritage Avenue about 4 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
Responding officers located the man lying in the front yard of a home and suffering from gunshot wounds. He died at scene.
There's no word on what led to the violence, but police said a person of interest was in custody.
