KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Kansas City man is facing charges of soliciting a minor under the age of 14.
Johnson County, Kan. prosecutors Thursday charged Eric Kilgore, 41, with one count of electronic solicitation of a minor on Feb 4, 2018.
Court documents reveal the victim was born in 2005. The initial investigation was made by the Overland Park, Kan. Police Department.
Kilgore appeared before a Johnson County judge on Friday afternoon. As part of the hearing, Kilgore and his attorney requested a reduction in his bond from $100,000 to $50,000. The judge granted the request and Kilgore posted the $50,000 bond shortly after the hearing.
As part of his bond condition, Kilgore was ordered not to have or use a computer and the internet.
He is scheduled to next appear in court on June 6.
