KCK police investigate homicide on South 11th Street

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are working a suspected homicide.

Police tweeted shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday about a homicide in the 200 block of South 11th Street.

Officers responding to a reported shooting arrived to find a 19-year-old male dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said Monday that the victim has been identified as Alberto Munoz-Delvalle Jr. of KCK.

The KCK police Major Case Unit is investigating the shooting and asks anyone with information to call the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).

This is the 34th homicide in KCK in 2019.
