KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two dead bodies located Friday near East 20th Street and Prospect Avenue are being investigated as “suspicious" deaths, according to the Kansas City, Missouri, police.
A woman who had been unable to reach her parents, who “had not been seen for several days,” went to check on them and found two bodies in an advanced state decomposition around 4 p.m.
“The bodies were both unable to be identified,” KCPD said.
KCPD is collecting evidence at the scene and canvassing the neighborhood, but asks anyone with information about the case to call the Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
