Lenexa police seek public's help in dog-bite case

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lenexa police are asking for the public's assistance in a dog-bite investigation.

Police said that a pit-bull mix bit another dog and an adult on Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. at Sar-Ko-Par Park.

The individual who was bitten left the scene before exchanging information with the woman who owns the dog.

Police need to verify the animal's vaccination records.

The pit-bull mix is white with tan and brown coloring.
