An Overland Park man is facing criminal charges in connection with an incident in a women’s bathroom at Oak Park Mall on Saturday.

A woman told police that she went into the women's bathroom, stepped in a stall and before she removed any clothing she noticed a man's head looking up at her from the floor.

She ran out of the bathroom and called the police, and the suspect, Netanel Kass, was arrested.

Kass pleaded not guilty in a Johnson County courtroom on Monday to a charge of breach of privacy.

Overland Park Police Public Information Officer John Lacy said the alleged female victim did the right thing by getting out of the bathroom, escaping the situation and calling police.
