KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Murder charges have been filed in the shooting that killed one man in front of the Johnson County main library last week.
Dvonte Jamal Brown, 27, was charged with first-degree murder, officials announced Monday.
Micah Babick, 30, was shot and killed outside the library on West 87th Street in Overland Park around 9 p.m. on April 8.
Babick's brother was with him when he was shot, police said.
No details about motive have been released at this time.
