Kansas City police say a man has been fatally shot during an apparent drug deal.
The shooting happened near Truman and Broadway.
Police said in a news release that the shooting was reported late Thursday. The release says the victim was taken in a private vehicle to a hospital, where he was dead upon arrival.
The victim was in his late 20s, but police didn't immediately release his name.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
