McDonald's employee knocked out during robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – An employee at an Overland Park, Kansas McDonald's was knocked unconscious during a robbery attempt Thursday morning.

Overland Park Police were called out just before 3 a.m. to the McDonald's restaurant at 151st Street and 69 Highway on a robbery call.

When police arrived, they located an employee that had been struck and knocked out. That employee was transported to a local hospital to recover from their injuries.

Police say two men were seen leaving the scene northbound on 69 Highway in a dark four-door sedan.
