Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 400 block of E. Armour Blvd. in KCMO.
Officers were dispatched around 12:45 a.m. Monday morning on reports of shots being fired.

When authorities arrived, they found a body lying on the ground in the street with no signs of life. The victim has been indentified as 24-year-old Alejandro Lockett of Kansas City, Mo.

The shooting happened outside the Sombart Apartments.
No one is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
