KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a homicide that happened late Tuesday night in east Kansas City, Missouri.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 4300 block of east 7th Street at around 9:15 p.m.
When they arrived, they located Elizabeth Stivers, 31, suffering from traumatic injuries in the front yard of a home.
She was transported to an area hospital and later died.
No suspect was immediately in custody.
