Kansas City police say a person was shot by another man who had three children in the car at the time.
Officials say a man with a gunshot wound was taken to Truman Medical Center by his girlfriend Wednesday evening. They told officials he was shot at a 7-Eleven on Van Brunt Boulevard. The victim is in serious condition.
The suspect later returned to the scene and turned himself into police.
Witnesses told officials that the suspect had three children in the car when the shooting took place.
