The 10-foot inflatable colon, which is owned by the Cancer Coalition, is used to teach about colon cancer in races across the country. It was sent to Kansas City for the Sister’s Living Beyond the Ribbon 5K on Oct. 20.
The colon was sitting in the bed of a parked pickup truck when it was allegedly taken.
