KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have charged a man with stealing a West Plaza resident's suitcases at gunpoint last week.

Jha'Merre McCallop is charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

A neighbor's security camera caught part of the crime on video. It shows two men drive up to the victim as she was loading suitcases into her car and stealing them at gunpoint.

At the time, police said two men were involved in the alleged crime but so far only one has been charged.

Court records show McCallop is also allegedly linked to two other robberies the same day.

McCallop was being held in the Jackson County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
