Kansas City police are looking for two men who robbed a mother and father sitting on their porch in Waldo.

According to police, the robbery took place around 9:30 p.m. on June 11 near 77th and Wornall.

And the couple's home surveillance camera captured the entire thing.

The video shows two men running onto the couple's porch, pointing guns at the victims. According to the police report, one of the suspects told the victims to "shut the **** up and get inside" their home.

Video shows the victims fighting back, putting their hands on the doorway to keep them from being forced inside the home. It also shows one of the suspects hitting the man in the head with a gun before fleeing the scene.

According to the police report, the suspects did not get inside the home. They did, however, steal their home key.

41 Action News spoke with the victims off-camera. They said they were "terrified" at what happened and are concerned about the safety of their young children.

"That makes me so scared," said Yvonne Coleman, who lives a couple homes down. "It's terrible. I don't think this would be happening so close to home because this is a very quiet neighborhood. There is nothing going on."

Anyone with any information is asked to call 911 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474--TIPS (8477).
