KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman was struck by a stray bullet in a parking lot near 39th Street and Rainbow Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to Kansas City, Kansas, police.
KCKPD said at 12:19 a.m., the woman was walking to her car when the stray bullet hit her.
Two people were exchanging gunfire nearby before she was hit, according to police.
The woman was driven to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
No suspects were taken into custody.
