KANSAS CITY, Mo. —A new report from the Center for Disease Control's National Center for Health Statistics shows that the birth rate in the U.S. continues to decline, and is now at a 32 year low. This puts the U.S. farther from a viable replacement rate, which is the number of births necessary for a generation to replace itself.
