KANSAS CITY, Mo. — You can prevent dehydration and heat exhaustion. The best way is to drink more water and eat water rich foods.
Cucumber and watermelon are the best food sources of water.
Symptoms of heat exhaustion include feeling dizzy, tired and nauseous.
"I think if you just take a rest, remove any extra layers of clothing, sit underneath the fan and drink these two bottles of water over the course of 10 minutes, you should start to feel better," said Dr. Shabana Walia.
