KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Johnson County Parks and Recreation Department has reopened playgrounds as it enters Phase Three of its reopening plan.

While the equipment can now be used, health leaders still urge visitors to practice social distancing.

They also encourage people to regularly wash their hands or use hand sanitizer pritor to using playground equipment.

There are four phases to the county’s reopening plan, which can be found on the JCPRD website.
