KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was injured in a shooting Saturday in Independence.
Police officers responded at 4:06 p.m. to the 11500 block of U.S. Route 24 and located a person with a gunshot wound.
The person was transported to a hospital. Two others were taken into custody.
