KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A bicyclist is in critical condition after a crash with a vehicle Sunday night in Overland Park.
Johnson County MEDACT says the crash took place between 10 and 11 p.m., at 99th Street and Antioch Avenue.
The bicyclist suffered a serious head injury and was unresponsive when Overland Park Police Department officers arrived to the scene. They were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Emergency crews arrived to the scene and transported the bicyclist to an area hospital in life-threatening condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
