UPDATE, Aug. 13 | The victim was identified as 30-year-old Levi Truesdale of Olathe.

ORIGINAL STORY, Aug. 7 | One person was struck and killed by a train Friday evening in Olathe.

The unidentified man, who Olathe police said is believed to be in his 20s, was struck by a train around 8:30 p.m. on the tracks near West 151st Terrace and South Keeler Street.

According to police, the man has long brown hair.
