KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash Monday night on Truman Road.
Police said a silver Mazda Tribune was traveling eastbound on Truman Road in a westbound lane, and a grey Ford F-150 was in a westbound lane on Truman Road when the Ford struck the Mazda.
The Mazda, according to police, then hit the concrete pillar of the overhead train track bridge. The driver of the Mazda refused medical treatment at the scene and was the only person in the vehicle. The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital after developing “intense chest pain,” according to police.
Two passengers from the Ford were taken to the hospital, one in stable condition, the other in critical condition.
