KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Millions of packages are being shipped this holiday season, leaving plenty of targets for porch pirates.
Earlier this month, 41 Action News anchor Taylor Hemness aired a story about a new service called BoxLock. The service allows delivery drivers to scan a lock on a box at a house, drop the package inside and then lock the box.
In a Friday edition of the 41 Files podcast, Hemness talks about the service and its limitations.
At the end of the podcast, Hemness talks about other delivery options and says drop box locations at Kansas City-area Whole Foods might still be the most convenient option for secure deliveries.
