KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE: 9/26 10:00 a.m.: Kansas City Police say a Chevrolet SUV and a Ford Crossover collided in the intersection, and the Ford became engulfed in flames.
The occupants of both vehicles were transported with non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into which driver ran a red light continues.
Five people were hurt, including one person with life-threatening injuries, in a crash Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
The two-vehicle crash happened shortly after 7 p.m. near East 75th Street and Paseo Boulevard.
According to KCPD, the other four injured parties were in stable condition.
