KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 6-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a car in south Kansas City, Missouri Monday evening.
Police said the child was hit near 107th and Bristoll. Police said he was walking to the park with his uncle and cousins. He was holding hands when darted into traffic and was hit by a vehicle.
The boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver who hit the boy stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
