UPDATE 11:52 p.m. | The Missouri Highway Patrol posted an update that the alert was canceled and that the child was located safe.
It urges people with information to call 911 or Hillsdale at 314-381-0527.
UPDATE 11:09 p.m. | The child, Jerrell Hill, was last seen with Andre T. Eaton Hill, 38, being "placed in a trash bag by the suspect," according to the Amber Alert.
Eaton Hill is 6 feet tall and weighs 196 pounds. He took the child from a home on Erick Avenue in Hillsdale, according to the alert.
Eaton Hill is possibly traveling to "an address on Laredo Avenue in St. Louis County.
ORIGINAL STORY | An Amber Alert has been issued for a six-month old child.
The alert, which came in around 10:53 p.m. stated that officials in Hillsdale, Missouri, are searching for a black 2012 Toyota Camry with Missouri license plate DL6C3Z.
The suspect is a 38-year-old black male.
Hillsdale is roughly 10 miles northwest of St. Louis.
