Belton police no longer looking for people of interest in homicide case

UPDATE, 8:15 p.m. | Belton police said Friday evening that they were no longer looking for Campbell, the second person of interest in a homicide case.

UPDATE, 5 p.m.| Police on Friday afternoon said they were no longer looking for Davis but had identified another person of interest in the case.

Investigators were attempting to locate Alea "Theo" Campbell, 18.

Campbell is 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 80 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

EARLIER | Belton, Missouri, police are searching for a person of interest in a homicide case.

Investigators said they want to speak with 18-year-old Makayla Davis about the Wednesday night homicide.

Timothy Hunter, 25, of Belton was found shot to death in the 1000 block of North Scott Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

Police said Davis is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
